Owning and creating original artwork is a life-changing experience. Original art enriches your surroundings with creative energy and provides new insights.  As a watercolor artist and owner of Alice Struck Watercolors, I specialize in nature and urban landscapes.  By remaining true to my inner vision, I have developed a unique style of painting with the sensitivity, spontaneity and splash only watercolor can achieve.

About Alice Struck

I am a long time resident of Mequon, Wisconsin. A visual artist all my life, I have been exhibiting and doing commissions for more than twenty seven years. Although I have an undergraduate degree in fine art from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, with a solid grounding in a broad range of media, watercolor is my medium of choice. I began exhibiting while my children were young, building a network of patrons throughout the midwest in festivals, fairs, community connections, galleries and commissions and have had my work featured in corporate collections, libraries and hospitals. I am an active member of the Cedarburg Cultural Center, the Cedarburg Artists Guild and the Wisconsin Watercolor Society and teach watercolor painting at the Cedarburg Cultural Center.  In addition, I have earned a masters' degree in Art Therapy from Mount Mary University and have spent the past twenty five years employed as an art therapist, helping to bring the joy and healing of personal creativity and expression to an ever widening audience.
